Bra, derived from the French word meaning "support," is defined as a women's undergarment made of satin, lace, or similar fabrics used to hold the breasts upright or to make them appear fuller.

Throughout history, women have used various objects to protect or conceal these parts, although not in their current form. The bra, an essential piece of women's clothing thought to have been used since ancient Greek times, has survived to this day through various changes and developments.

Choosing the Right Bra:

Add 2 inches or 5 cm to the chest circumference (line 1 in the image) to find the bra band size, such as 32, 34, 36, or 80, 85, or 90.

If the difference between the chest circumference at the widest point (line 2 in the image) and the circumference below the breast is up to 2.5 cm, the breast is classified as an A cup; between 2.5 and 5 cm, a B cup; between 5 and 7.5 cm, a C cup; and between 7.5 and 10 cm, a D cup.

In simpler terms, an A cup is approximately the size of a tangerine, a B cup is the size of an orange, a C cup is the equivalent of a grapefruit, and a D cup is larger than a grapefruit.

Helpful Tips

1- Cups that don't fit your breasts properly can make your breasts appear saggy and double in size. We recommend choosing styles that fully support your breasts and leave no dimpling.

2- The main support in a bra comes from the band at the back. The product you choose should be firm yet comfortable. When choosing a bra, you should choose one that fits you best using the innermost clasp, so that you can move to the outer clasps as the elastic loosens.

3- Adjusting the bra's shoulder straps is crucial. Just enough space between the strap and your shoulder indicates the correct fit. Women with larger breasts experience fewer problems with wider straps or those with padded bottoms.
