SMART DRUG USE IN BREAST CANCER (WHAT IS TARGETED THERAPY?)
One of the Primary Questions Asked by Women Diagnosed with Breast Cancer Who Apply to Breast Centers Today Is Whether They Can Receive Smart Drug Treatment.
One of the most common questions women diagnosed with breast cancer who present to Breast Centers today is whether they can receive smart drug therapy. However, targeted drug therapies, often referred to as smart drugs and the subject of a growing number of studies, are administered to suitable patients under specific conditions. This group of drugs, scientifically known as targeted therapy, is known as "smart drugs."
Smart drugs generally bind to a molecule on the tumor through an antibody/angiogen interaction, causing tumor cell death. They do not harm normal cells like chemotherapy and have far fewer side effects.
Smart drugs are not a matter of choice! They are therapeutic tools that can be applied in appropriate cases when the necessary conditions are met.
